Welcome to the second instalment of Twitched Remixed, a remix series of the original production by Ken Ishii.
Belgium, the land that witnessed Ken Ishii’s ascend in the early european electronic music scene. Nowadays, belgian DJ and Producer Tom Hades is cosidered one of the country’s leading acts, and he kicks-off the reference with a state-of-the-art remix crafted over a big-room foundation, resulting on an ever-evolving hypnotic stomper.
Two thousand kilometers away, and without acknowledging it, Miki Craven was following a surprisingly similar approach, by turning the original Twitched into the perfect stab storm, a remix so full of power, it is advised for use during peak-time madness.
We remain in Barcelonafor the “digital B-side” with Lucas Freire’s reinterpretation, whose ninja skills on snare programming represents the most prominient characteristic in the third cut of this issue.
To close this second remix release, let’s go back to Belgium and introduce you to Frank Bauduin, with this ‘Itch’ remix, guaranteed to make you twitch.
The third part of this remix series follows next week.
